A Wellness Hub for yoga, meditation, massage, and healing therapies.

The Zen Den invites you to enter a realm of natural simplicity while our practitioners help you unplug from the stimulation of everyday life and surrender to the healing, slow pace of island life. You can visit the Zen Den at any time during your stay for a massage, reflexology, wraps, scrubs, yoga, meditation and healing therapies. On request, we can design a bespoke ‘wellness experience’ over the course of your stay, this is booked ahead of time to ensure availability of our massage therapists and yoga practitioners. This space inspires you to truly unwind and reconnect with self and wellness.

on top of a sand dune at the heart of the Cabanas, with a cool sea breeze and ocean vistas.. Wrapped in it’s own organic, natural calm, this is the perfect space to indulge in self care and reflection.

The Zen Den has a beautiful history and holds a deep meaning for the owner. When old enough for her own Cabana, Anna left Ohana (the family Cabana) and was granted her own grass hut, her private sanctuary. She was so inspired and nurtured by the energy here that in January 2019 she asked her mother if she could dedicate her refuge to all who visit as a place of healing, and so The Zen Den was born.

It’s purpose is simply to promote peace, health and happiness.

Anna is the founder and resident Holistic Health Coach, she has studied neuroscience, nutrition, meditation, ayurveda and is an RYT500 advanced Yoga Teacher. The Zen Den loves to host visiting practitioners throughout the year to share their different healing therapies from around the world.

The Zen Den itself is built with local sustainable materials found on the island, woven and crafted by local villagers. The spacious, natural, minimalist design of the yoga deck supports an organic, focused, clean sadhana or practice. All power at The Cabanas is sourced from the sun.

Who can access The Zen Den?

We have three different accommodation options available to those wanting to access the Zen Den. The closest is The Cabanas themselves which are luxury private rooms surrounding the Zen Den, Cabana guests also have exclusive access to the rooftop infinity pool. A 4 minute walk away we have our much loved Clubhouse which is a vibrant and budget friendly accommodation option, it does not come with a pool but the ocean is only a few minutes walk away. And then there is Pepo, our beautiful Swahili villa with its own private pool and garden just a 3 minute walk from The Zen Den.
